first of all
THANKS everyone
had a great dinner on friday with yin che n shuang at Ocha, a small but authentic japanese restaurant. we made a reservation at 6pm n it says 6 means 6..we actually waited n stood outside the restaurant for a couple of minutes before the waiter let us in at exactly 6pm..
the food was great though. we ordered a glass of choya plum wine n a bottle of sake to share. i m not a big fan of alcohol, but loveeeeed the plum wine -- ll definitely try it again. :) then had some salmon parcels for entree n some spicy tuna & salmon caviar sushi..n then some chicken(forgot the name) n miso duck for main. again, loveeeeeeed the duck -- love the juicy meat. love the nutty sauce. so yummmmmy!! :) thanks yin che for the dinner n thanks shuang for the company. also big big hugss for the cute little cupcakes n the "mitochondrial" present -- best hsemates ever!! hohoho..:p
another great dinner with frens on saturday nite. went to our usual-korean-bday-restaurant, Oriental Spoon. ordered our must-order-dishes -- jap chae, bulgogi n seafood hot pot, plus kimchi pancake(so-so only) n sweet & spicy chicken. good food, good frens n good time. :) the present was a little surprise though. i guess i shouldnt b surprised as ppl always put the "cute" label on me.hee. but it was really cute n special -- a hello kitty toaster!! :p n thanks for the bday song singing -- a lovely embarassment that almost every bday person tries to avoid.n i had it twice -- with the second time co-shared by ms lichia.*evil grin*

a change of topic..
currently in Dookie -- from the name u can tell it's somewhere country.hehe..:p yup, just started my 3 week rural rotation..ll b in Dookie for a 3-day orientation n then ll go to Kyneton for the "real" rural placement.. try to think of some place in msia that is equivalent to dookie but cannot..even kuala selangor or KKB is more developed than dookie..so mayb u can imagine how rural it is..3 weeks of rural placement is fine,but for now dun thk i can stand doing rural for the rest of my life..i m still a city gal.:p
n food is also provided for these 3 days..but it's only the first day n i almost beh tahan d..as in beh tahan those ang mo food -- i wan to eat rice!! i m seriously a "fan tong".i miss chicken rice, fried rice, nasi lemak etc. hehehe..anyone wan to volunteer to deliver some asian food to me?plss? :p
life getting more stressful d..rural plus interview plus exam -- arghhh..cant wait for all these to b over..n at least there is sth to look forward to -- yin che's wedding!! yoohoo~~ :D
