from a final year med student

an official farewell to 5.5 years of med school - IMU & unimelb.

it has been a good 5.5 years - learning to b a good doctor, moving from IMU to unimelb, moving away from home, starting a relationship, meeting new & interesting ppl, being forced to b independent, learning to grow up n am still growing up...

it's a mixed feeling. i m feeling a bit bu she de but at the same time i know i should n i want to move on - i m quite old already i know i know..ppl r saying that we can no longer say "i m sorry i dunno. i m just a med student." "what do u mean u dunno. u are a doctor k." anyway the responsibility is there now. whether ur shoulders r ready onot..

at the moment i m nervously excited. bout internship bout earning own money bout the working life n bout the future..

before the real challenge starts next year...

my life is not perfect.

family, love, friends, health, study n money.. etc...

lets accept the reality: life can never be perfect.

just finished my GP placement - quite an enjoyable placement.
was talking to a patient the other day n he told us this funny n interesting theory of men:

there are 4 important things in a guy/man's life i.e. Family, Money, Women n Health.

if u possess all 4, u ll die immediately.
if u possess 3 out of 4, then u are dying. soon.
if u possess 2 out of 4, then u ll survive. at least for quite a while.

so guys, make up ur mind n pick ur choice! :)

watched "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen" with dear today..i didnt watch Transformers 1 n i m not a robot- or metal-person at all..so i was prepared to sleep thru that 2 n a half hours..but surprisingly i stayed awake..i thought it's a pretty good movie..really enjoyed it n am now a fan of optimus prime..bumble bee was cute too..hee -- i hav never thought that i would use "cute" on a robot..heh..those soldiers (e.g. Captain Lennox) were quite yeng as well..:p

Harry Potter 6 is coming! cant wait to watch the movie..currently rajinly revising the book..coz all i could remember were the lake with many zombies in it where the horcrux was kept n lots of going back to the past esp voldemort's past..i know who the half-blood prince is but forgot its relevance or significance d -- i can vaguely rmb there's this vy geng de potion book...obviously lots of reading to do for me..

had a gathering with frens at Pappa Rich ytday(we went there for yam cha too the last time i came back..) geng geng gai..catch catch up..working life is never easy..especially in msia..n i ll b joining u guys in the same boat in a few months time -- a mixed feeling of looking forward to working but oso dreading the stressful transition into internship...all of us have to start somewhere somehow...

currently into "少年杨家将"...:p
