yesterday one of my frens tested me on our national anthem "Negaraku".. n i couldnt believe that i forgot part of the lyrics -- the "rahmat bahagia" part (test urself! n u may be worse than me =p)...hav not sung the song for ages, altho i used to sing it everyday back in school times...lets sing it in karaoke next time..hehe...

anyway wishing for a better Malaysia..

i hav always treasured the frenship between us..
i believe it's "yuan fen", seeing that the way we met was a-bit-more-than-just-ordinary..XD (i m always that kind of person who believes in "yuan fen"..)
my one-month home stay at her hse ll always be one of the most memorable experiences in my life...till now Japan is still one of my favourite countries(hav even thought of living there for good -- a dream~~)...ll definitely re-visit the country one day though -- n shun bian re-visit my host families if that's possible...

am going back to hopsital for my weekend shift tmr..everyone gets his/her turn n it's mine tmr..not looking forward to it at all..going back to hosp on weekend -- it sounds really horrible, terrible n unbelievable..=p

two case commentaries due next monday n a presentation on wed..it's my critical "rajin" period now...should work a bit harder -- but dun expect me to abandon my TVB series..heh...

黄色盒子的，很明显是豆沙饼 (可是是有葱的 *bleh*)。。
红色包装的，是香饼。。它有一个更亲切的客家名字 -- ngang kok piang v(*_*)v
金色罐的，是红豆月饼 -- 中秋节快到了噢 。。最近也在煲剧“家好月圆”。。。=p

(除了这些，其实还有黄豆包、“扭扭转”以及sour mix mentos糖果。。嘻嘻。。)

都是满满的“家”的味道。。

finally...^^ (after gold coast & perth..)


i have always dreaded long-distance flights with budget airlines e.g. airasia, jetstar, tiger etc...but(a big "but") in reality..money does matter n it's DIRECT flight now..i.e. no transit at gold coast or watsoever...i hav once waited for 9 hrs at Changi airport for transit back to KL n it has since then put me off flying with transit -- really sam fu arr, esp when u couldnt find a decent spot to rest/sleep *pai mia*....=p

anyway airasia has finally made a wise decision -- good work!! hehe..since airasia started flying to gold coast last year, we hav all been waiting for this very moment to come..a great news for the melb-msians i thk..hee...*yea*


hav just "fast hand fast leg" booked my flight from KL to melb early next year -- the first thing i did after i woke up this morn, even before brushing teeth n cleaning..*happy* my air ticket has never been tat cheap eh =p

为了满足lichia小姐对choco的craving，吃了饱饱的韩国晚餐后，我们还是来到了Max Brenner chocolate bar。。。

巧克力，让人有幸福的感觉噢。。^^
特别的banana choco pizza及爱演戏的手-手。。
shuang的晚餐 -- tutti fruitti waffle。。好好地enjoy吧。。

一个巧克力的夜晚。。。

他，毕业了！

那天，是他的大日子 -- 毕业典礼。。

毕业，其实也就像结婚一样，“正常”来讲，都是一生人一次。。可是，我却远在天寒地冻的澳洲，没办法出席见证这一刻。。。

其实，“错过”，对于我们来说已经是家常便饭了 -- 像呼吸一样习惯成自然了。。*bleh* 就像我的生日、他的生日、周年纪念日、西洋情人节、华人情人节、七夕情人节etc。。甚至于中秋节、端午节、清明节etc也是一样。。天各一方。。嘿嘿。。。XD

但是，无法出席他的毕业典礼，我还是小小的可惜了一下，小小的伤心了一下，也小小的遗憾了一下。。

但愿，我的毕业典礼不会是另一个小小的遗憾，另一个“错过”。。。

无论如何，

1st day at women's

yesterday was one of the longest day tat i hav ever had...

my women's health rotation began with my day shift at the delivery suite..a 15 hour shift from 7am till 10pm...it's a bit crazy i thk..no one ll b able to stay awake, n most importantly alert for that period of time...i became a little bit blurred towards the end of the shift n the midwives were considerate enough to let me leave an hour earlier...=p

anyway it wasnt a busy shift..but i still managed to observe 2 normal vaginal deliveries n 3 Caesarean sections..it's considered "a lot" as my partner was just able to watch one caesar...casesar is quicker than what i hav expected -- they cut the tummy n the baby is out..hehe...it's not my first time watching a delivery actually(my first one dates back to my imu time during our KKB posting..i hav even got the photo of me n the baby..=p)

there r night shifts as well i.e. from 9.30pm till 7am the next morning..a quite different experience i thk..i m looking forward to it n at the same time am concerned bout getting enough sleep..heh...my sleep is important to me..=p

good luck to myself...

半个月前开始看了这本书。。

现在还停留在第55页。。。


你听过[万用可食性测试]吗？ 它可以帮你测试一棵植物是否有毒，是否可食。。

要进行这个测试，首先你得禁食八个小时，然后把植物分解成根茎、树叶、枝干、花苞、花朵，

取下其中一部分的一小块，擦在手腕内面。
如果没事，你就把它放在嘴唇内部三分钟；
如果没事，你就把它用舌头抵着十五分钟。
如果还是没事，你可以把它嚼碎，但不要吞下去，而是把它含在嘴里十五分钟。
如果这样都没事，你就把它吞下肚，然后等八个小时。
如果还是没事，你就可以吃四分之一杯；
如果还是没事，那就表示这种植物可以吃。

是不是还蛮有趣的？

am officially starting my women's health rotation next week..they said it's the most difficult rotation..but i guess nothing is easy in medicine...it's bout a person's life...but i ll be practically handling "lives" in this rotation (did u just get what i mean?)... ppl say that women who r pregnant r the most beautiful women in the world..labour is the most beautiful process n babies r the most beautiful creatures in the world -- even the crying ones -- who ll eventually turn from little angels to little devils when they start to grow up..*bleh*

a doctor once told us tat to b a successful obstetrician, u need to b ugly..because tat ll make the little baby cry when it first comes to this world..n the baby's first cry brings air/O2 into its lungs, marking the beginning of its life...that's a lame joke from that doctor btw...

i m looking forward to it..not to delivering my own baby, but to my new rotation..theoretically the most "beautiful" rotation..hehe...
